about

Resonance conference focuses on different aspects of electroacoustic music, sound art and technology with special emphasis on resonance phenomena. The conference will attract composers, theorists, sound engineers and academics while the broad scope of presented topics will range from monographs to special case studies devoted to the original concept of sound art. The conference aims at showing the great complexity of contemporary sound art and electroacoustic music. The conference proceedings will often take form of open discussions where references to theory of acoustics, hidden spaces of sound, vibration of solid and gas materials, as well as comments  to the wave theory of the universe are likely to appear. The concert program comprises a series of electroacoustic acousmatic music concerts performed by multi-channel speaker system and was arranged in a close collaboration with the International Confederation of Electroacoustic Music CIME / ICEM and the Polish Society for Electroacoustic Music PSeME.
